Description
This is the underlying dataset to accompany the publication entitled "Duchenne muscular dystrophy gene expression is an independent prognostic marker for low-grade glioma". The dataset comprises of RNAseq and clinical data from low-grade glioma (LGG) tissue mined for DMD gene expression.

This data is derived from The Cancer Genome Atlas (Brain Lower Grade Glioma, TCGA, PanCancer Atlas 2018) and lists the expression level of different DMD transcripts for each LGG (WHO grade II) patient alongside their clinical and survival data.

This data is derived from CBioPortal.org (Brain Lower Grade Glioma, TCGA, PanCancer Atlas 2018) and provides all the clinical information available for each (WHO Grade II) patient used in our study.
TCGA_idep_dataset_high_low_DMD_WHO_grade_II_LGG.txt
This data is derived from The Cancer Genome Atlas (Brain Lower Grade Glioma, TCGA, PanCancer Atlas 2018) and lists the expression level for all genes in each patient (WHO grade II). Each column is a different patient grouped according to whether they have low or high DMD gene expression (low 1, low 2 etc.). Each row is a different gene, the first column provides the HUGO gene symbol.

This data is derived from the Chinese Glioma Genome Atlas (CGGA), dataset ID: mRNAseq_693 and lists the DMD gene expression level for each glioma patient alongside their clinical and survival data.

This data is derived from CBioPortal.org and provides the DMD expression and survival data for patients used in our study with grade III and grade IV LGG. Each grade is presented on a separate tab.
