Biography

Hala Mansour is Associate Professor and the Level 8 Lead for both the PhD Programme and the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Programme at Faculty of Business and Law, the University of Northampton. Hala is Senior Fellow in the Higher Education. 

My career in higher education thus far has given me a broad international background in higher education especially in the Middle East and in UK HE. This has given me the expertise in developing and leading diverse PG portfolio and engaging with policies and procedures, international partnerships and policies and regulations. I‘m highly committed to building research centred and entrepreneurial mind with a focus on research excellence through PGRs learning and growth and my passion for effective, supportive and ethical research leadership that guides my roles and responsibilities in management. I’m an active, creative and dynamic researcher, organisational excellence professional and educator.

My vision in managing PG research focuses on supporting building diverse research learning experience in a challenging and diverse environment. This aligns with developing goals of supporting equality and diversity in Postgraduate Research Education. It also supports the knowledge transfer for PG and builds a research-centric environment.

Hala's research focuses on Organisational Effectiveness, Organisational Culture, Organisational Change, Human Resource Management, Managerialism and New Public Management. http://www.northampton.ac.uk/directories/people/hala-mansour. Hala received PhD in Management, 2012 from Keele University and MA in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education 2013 from Keele University, UK. She also awarded BA Hons Business Administration, MSc in HRM/OB, PGCHE and PGCE (Teaching &Technology)

From 1995, Dr Mansour has held, also, research and teaching commitments at Cairo University and then Keele University.
