Biography

Jack Hardwicke teaches on Health Sciences BSc (Hons) at the University of Northampton, specialising in Health Sociology. Jack graduated from the University of Winchester in 2018 with an undergraduate degree in Sociology and a PhD in Sport Sociology in 2022.

Research Interests

Jack’s current research interests sit mainly in understanding how sporting cultures and individual differences influence concussion management behaviours in athletes. Alongside this, he is also actively investigating the intersection of injury and masculinity in athletes, LGBTQ+ experiences in sport and physical activity promotion in community settings. He is mixed method and interdisciplinary in his research approach.
