Biography
Dr Roshni Khatri is the subject leader of the Health Professions programmes. Working at the University since 2003, Roshni has been involved in various projects to embed active blended learning within current teaching practices.
Her research interests include the use of technology to enhance curricula and curriculum design using active blended learning. Her clinical research interests include the evaluation of neurological rehabilitation techniques for adults and children to improve functional independence and quality of life. She was awarded the Carnegie Fellowship to encourage a research collaboration and networking between health sciences alumni. Roshni is also a reviewer for the Royal College of Occupational Therapy Journal as well as the Journal of Assessment and Evaluation in Higher Education.
Before working in Higher Education, Roshni worked in a range of acute hospitals within the area of neurological rehabilitation. Her roles included the delivery of rehabilitation programmes in rural and urban settings which ranged from the facilitation of sensory programmes for children with cerebral palsy to the delivery of community based rehabilitation programmes for adult stroke survivors.
