Biography

Stacie joined the University of Northampton in 2021 as a Senior Lecturer in Sport Business and Leadership and works within the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology. She is the Programme Leader for the BSc Sport Business and Leadership degree. 

Stacie began her studies by undertaking a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport Science with Management at Loughborough University. She proceeded to complete an MA in Sport Marketing and PgCAPHE from Coventry University. Stacie completed her PhD (Achieving Compliance with the World Anti-Doping Code: A Comparison of Other International Agreements) at Loughborough University.

Research Interests

Following on from her PhD, Stacie’s research broadly focuses upon sport policy and governance. Specific interest areas include:

  • Sport policy implementation and compliance
  • Anti-doping policy
  • Gender equality in sport
